This is a little bit of a different “thrift shop Thursday,” mainly because we won’t be going thrifting… I know shocker! With the holidays coming up fast, everyone gets caught up with buying all the things because consumerism.
But let’s all take a step back and observe what we already got. I guess you can say I’m feeling the thanksgiving vibes hard this year. With owning a house and paying bills, a lot of money goes to the big picture in our life. Which I am incredibly thankful for! But as far as the little things, like needing to buy clothes all the time, it’s really just skin deep. It’s a quick happiness that goes away just as fast.
So with that being said, I decided to go shopping in my closet! If you haven’t heard this term before, most fashion bloggers have done this at least once in ther blogging career. Rather than buying a new outfit for your typical #ootd, I want to raid my closet and try to come up with new outfits I haven’t tried or thought about creating before! I know this can be tricky but if you have a spouse, sibling, or friend that can even help you out, it can be really fun! So instead of just lil ol’ me picking out a new outfit from my wardrobe, I challenged my boyfriend to create a few outfits from my closet. I didn’t give him any guidance or hints. I told him to pick out an outfit to wear for the 4 different seasons. So 4 outfits for Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer. Here are the results:
